Course description
Material selection is important in the design and manufacture of industrial products. Further, in recent years it has been required to select a material suitable for the environment. In this lecture, it aims to introduce the knowledge of the basic characteristics of each material and learn the sophistication of the material selection.
Purpose of class
In this lecture, it aims to enhance a basic knowledge of the material selection method suitable design criteria and operating environments of industrial materials.
Goals and objectives
  1. We are able to select materials from a chemical point of view by acquiring the basic skills of materials according to the design standards of industrial materials and the usage environment.
  2. We can capture the properties of various materials, understand the chemical properties of materials, and explain their uses according to the properties of materials.
  3. We can explain the bonding state, phase change, etc. of the elements that make up the material from a chemical point of view.
Language
Japanese
