Course description
Electronic devices permeate every aspect of our present day lives. This course introduces the basic concepts of the electric and electronics devices. Topics to be discussed include conductive materials, dielectric materials, semiconductor materials and magnetic materials.
Purpose of class
This course should provide the students with a basic understanding of physical properties of materials and principles of operation of electric/electronics devices.
