Computational statistical physics
You can choose either one or both of two themes below.
1. Study of statistical or material physics by computational simulations.
Construct a model Hamiltonian which consists of essential interactions in a real material, and execute computational simulations
of the model Hamiltonian to explain a mechanism of interesting phenomena.
2. Development or modification of computational simulations.
Computational times have been drastically shortened by a significant development in computer hardware. But practically they
deeply depend on implementations or selected algorithms. In this research, we learn algorithms for computational statistical
physics, and we develop or modify the algorithms in consideration of computer architecture.
