4 Graduation Thesis2
You can’t take this class without the credit of Graduation Thesis 1. You will study a specific topic for your sake under the
guidance of a professor at an assigned laboratory of Dept. Electronic Engineering in SIT (taking your wish into consideration).
Based on your knowledge (what you have learned so far), this course deals with the basis of research and development through
discussion on your ways, methods, results of a specific topic by means of your laboratory and Dept. presentations. Total study
time is more than 82.5 hours. Depending on the situation, you may study abroad as part of this class. Depending on the situation,

Based on your knowledge (what you have learned so far), you are expected to acquire the basis of research and development
through discussion on your ways, methods, results of a specific topic by means of your laboratory and Dept. presentations.

Advanced Integrated Circuit System
In the advanced integrated circuit system laboratory, related to design methodologies of CMOS transistors, electrical circuit,
and electronic circuit, the following research themes are studied:
・High-performance A/D・D/A converter
Low operating voltage, high speed flash A/D converter
High speed sub-ranging A/D converter
Low glitch D/A converter
・Wireless power transfer system for moving object
・High-performance High accuracy analog sensor
(Temperature sensor, Timing sensor, Image sensor, Electroencephalography sensor, Pressure sensor)
・Self synchronous Serial Interface
・Microwave Pulse Communicate system with antenna on a chip

Evaluation method and criteria
Your work and your presentation on your Graduation Thesis2 works are requested to be evaluated by your guiding professor and
other professors, respectively. You must score at least 60 points or higher out of 100 to pass from the points of view as
follows:
-Evaluation of your works by your guiding professor: You can understand a research background knowledge, and carry out the
basic research work. You can carry on both your engineering design and Graduation Thesis works along your planning, and find
better solutions in future (25%). You can write your thesis on a specific topic (25%).
-Evaluation of your presentation by other professors: You can prepare the presentation stuff along the guidelines (25%). You
can answer questions on your Graduation Thesis2 works and results (25%).
