Course description
Students will belong to other several laboratories as well as the supervisor's laboratory and participate in a small group meeting (seminar) in each visited laboratory, listening to research presentations given by the laboratory members and trying to understand the content of each presentation. Students will take notes and summarize what they cannot understand, which will be used in discussions with the group members. In addition, students will also introduce their own research activities performed in the laboratory using a presentation tool such as MS-PowerPoint. Through these activities, students will strive to improve communication skills and understand the importance of multidisciplinary approach.
Purpose of class
The purposes of this course are to acquire an ability to understand a wide range of research, and to have skills to explain their own research to people who are in other research areas.

Evaluation method and criteria
More than 60% of the total score is needed for getting the course credit. The details will be explained by the supervisor.
"Daily activities" will be evaluated by the supervisor.
"Presentation in meeting" will be evaluated by the supervisor.
"Presentation at the end of the semester" will be evaluated by the supervisors and the reviewers.

Laboratory rotations are also evaluated on the same items as laboratory activities in their home laboratory.
The ratio of the two in the final evaluation is as follows:
