This course aims to study the relationship between cybersecurity and society and deepen the understanding of related knowledge
and skills to analyze the impact of cybersecurity on society. In order to strengthen cybersecurity, it is necessary to have
a comprehensive perspective on political and economic issues, organizational management, human engineering, law, policies,
and other aspects in addition to technical knowledge. Therefore, in this course, various incidents related to cybersecurity
and the formation of norms in international fora will be analyzed from multiple perspectives mentioned above, and discussions
on technical or policy measures from the viewpoint of prevention, response, and prevention will be conducted.
An instructor with practical experience teaches this course. The instructor has experience in policy-making related to cybersecurity at think tanks and related organizations, accepting reports of incidents, supporting responses, understanding the situation, analyzing modus operandi, and considering and advising on measures for preventing recurrence. He lectures on the impact of cybersecurity on society and the responsible use of technology for societies.

The course aims to equip students with the ability to analyze a given cybersecurity case both qualitatively and quantitatively,
considering the relevant laws and regulations. In order to achieve this goal, students should be able to explain cybersecurity
technologies and institutions based on their objectives, principles, and concepts. Furthermore, the course will examine how
the impact of cybersecurity extends beyond individuals and organizations to affect state relations. It will also explore the
evolving role of information and communication technology in the relationship between the state and the market.
This course will provide students with concrete examples of technical and institutional responses to ransomware-based attacks. By studying these examples, students will be able to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze them.

- 課題の作成において、Chatbotの利用を妨げない。ただし、Chatbotの結果をそのまま転記する等の行為に対して減点することがある。
- 様式・要件を満たしていない課題や提出期限を過ぎて課題を提出した場合、課題の成績を減点する。
- 課題に対して複数人が同一内容の解答を提出した場合、理由の如何を問わず、該当者全員が大幅な減点となる。
