Course description
Course puts emphasis on explaining plainly how I have controlled the city where the present city planning is actual.
Learn the background of the city formation and the design of institutional arrangements which were seen from city history.
Purpose of class
Course aims at mastering the foundation of city planning.
Goals and objectives
  1. Students can understand and explain modern urban issues.
  2. Students can understand the basic mechanism of modern city planning and explain important items of the City Planning Act
  3. Students can understand the basics of urban form control techniques and explain several examples of form regulation
  4. Students will be able to understand the basics of local community development techniques and explain and explain the area maintenance techniques.
  5. Students will be able to understand practical examples of urban planning and community development, and will be able to explain several case studies.
