Course description
This course provides students with opportunity to learn beyond the basics of bioscience knowledge through specialized topics from bioscience course professors in Bioscience and Engineering department. The course is intended for students interested in gaining further knowledge in topics related to current research topics in Bioscience.
Purpose of class
To understand the advance bioscience topics including Genetics, Microbiology. Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understand the concept of genes and their functions in different organisms
  2. Analyze the complex biochemical processes at the molecular level in bioscience
  3. Understand the methodologies used in current bioscience and biotechnology research
