Course description
You will acquire the skills for expressing various items on science and technology in English. Emphasis is put on speaking and writing. You will learn the expression and vocabulary that are used in a variety of situations in the field of science and technology. You will use a textbook focusing on such situations. You will achieve competency through pair and group works. A textbook and workbook will be prescribed.
E-learning will be included as an out-of-class activity so that you will touch as much English usage as possible. The assigned range in "Super Eigo" should be finished by the final exam.

Note: classes will be determined based on the placement data (the highest TOEIC score that you have got at this university). The textbook used in each class differs (see below). Check the teacher of your assigned class and purchase the text used in your class.

The classes are formed according to students' English proficiency levels. The distribution of grades will be adjusted based on the class levels. The scores of the students in the upper classes will be raised regarding the tests and tasks particular to the upper classes.

A grade of 60 will be given if you can understand the text and audio in the textbook almost completely.
