Course description
In this course we will learn about the structure and function of the cells that make up our bodies. We will also be introduced to the equipment used in real research sites etc. and be aware of the links between biology and other fields.
Purpose of class
The purpose is to understand the structure and function of the cells that make up our bodies and their relationship to actual diseases. It also purposes to understand how this knowledge and experience relates to their own field.

There will be mid-term and final exams in this course. There will also be mini-tests throughout the course. An overall mark of 60% or above is required to pass the course. The exam will be based on the PowerPoint presentation used in class, lecture notes and oral comments. You can pass the exam if you fully understand the content of the lecture.
