Course content
The problems the modern society face go beyond the borders of the areas of specializations. To solve the problems, this class focuses methodologies of systems engineering based around “System Thinking” to pursue comprehensive and systematic solutions, “System Methods” to design functions to achieve goals, and “System Management” to integrate empathy, people, knowledge and techniques. These methodologies are learned by lectures and exercises of each items.
Purpose of class
To acquire systems thinking and systems methods to pursue synthetic solutions, and systems management to empathize with people.
Goals and objectives
  1. Can understand way of using systems engineering beyond the borders of the areas of specializations
  2. Can learn systematic process for problem finding, understanding and solving
  3. Can get empathy people for manage project to problem solving
  4. Can design, model and explore problem solutions systematically
