Course content
This lecture is possible to learn that the geo-environmental problem to be dealt with in geotechnical engineering is extremely varied and versatile. Understand the assessment and countermeasures on construction sludge, waste, ecosystem and global environmental issues. Also, deepen understanding on geotechnical evaluation and countermeasures for ground pollution and landfill disposal of waste.
Purpose of class
This lecture is possible to learn that the geo-environmental problem to be dealt with in geotechnical engineering is extremely varied and versatile. Understand the assessment and countermeasures on construction-generated soil, waste, ecosystem and global environmental issues. Also, deepen understanding on geotechnical evaluation and countermeasures for ground pollution and landfill disposal of waste.
Goals and objectives
  1. Students can understand that the geo-environmental issues to be handled in geotechnical engineering are extremely varied and versatile.
  2. Students can rationally plan and design geotechnical evaluation / countermeasures for construction-generated soil, waste, and others (ecosystem and global environmental problems).
  3. Students can rationally plan and design evaluation and countermeasure methods that are compatible with the geo-environmental issues related to ground pollution and landfill disposal of waste.
