Course content
It is required to solve various problems and achieve difficult goals in companies and societies. Production management is one of essential knowledge for solving problems and achieving the goals. This course introduces the foundations of Production management through abundant examples and practical training. Not limited to the manufacturing industry, the service conversion of the manufacturing industry, digital transformation (DX), and productivity improvement of the service industry will be also introduced. It is possible to specifically understand living Production management through project based learning.
Purpose of class
The main aims of this course are to deepen knowledge and understanding what kind of effects Production management will bring to companies and society and what kind of attention should be taken in implementation in order to get the necessary proficiency for immediate strength in companies and societies. We will focus on training to become a leader in solving problems and achieving goals through implementation of Production management. It also enhances the development of skills in making oral presentation and self-regulated learning.
