Course content
This course deals with practical study on a semiconductor. It also enhances the development of your skill in making oral presentation.
You are expected to acquire knowledge and practical skills in semiconductor physics and devices. Students are required to attend the meetings and researches in this laboratory.
Goals and objectives
  1. To be able to understand the latest researches in this laboratory. (DP 1-4)
  2. To be able to understand mechanisms and fabrication techniques of semiconductors, and to obtain research skills in semiconductor physics. (DP 1-4)
  3. To be able to understand mechanisms and fabrication techniques of semiconductor devices, and to obtain research skills in semiconductor devices. (DP 1-4)
  4. To be able to present the results of your research and discuss with others. (DP 1-4)

Evaluation method and criteria
Evaluation method:
Presentation of the latest studies and discussion 50%, presentation of the results of your researches and discussion 50% (60% appropriate answers are required).
Criteria:
Regardless the level, if you are able to explain the summary as for the latest studies, and present your results and make discussion with others as for the your studies, you will get 60 points out of 100 to pass.

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge in semiconductor physics and devices are required.
