コンピュータグラフィクス，コンピュータビジョン，ヒューマンコンピュータインタフェース分野における研究に取り組む．具体的には，これらの分野における課題を設定し，その解法を提案・実装・評価し，最終的には対外発表を目指す．

  1. コンピュータグラフィクス，コンピュータビジョン，ヒューマンコンピュータインタフェース分野における研究調査を行うことができる
  2. コンピュータグラフィクス，コンピュータビジョン，ヒューマンコンピュータインタフェース分野における研究課題を自身で設定できる
  3. コンピュータグラフィクス，コンピュータビジョン，ヒューマンコンピュータインタフェース分野における研究課題について，その解法を提案・実装・評価することが出来る

指導教員とディスカッションを重ねながら，研究課題の決定から，その解法の提案・実装・評価を行なう．評価結果に基づき，必要に応じて提案手法の修正を繰り返す．最終的には，当該分野の研究会や論文誌にて対外発表を目指す．

研究活動に対する日常的な姿勢（研究ミーティングへの参加，研究ミーティング資料，実装など）や研究成果を利用し評価する．
