1 Molecular Sensor Engineering /Exercise1
Understanding and mimicking the static state of molecules may still fall short of replicating the behavior and functionality
observed in nature. This difficulty arises because molecules and their assemblies are always "fluctuating." In this research,
students will focus on developing passive and active sensor technologies that measure and utilize the spatiotemporal fluctuations
of biological and chemical molecules. This includes applied research with clear applications in healthcare and the environment,
foundational research aimed at developing novel molecular measurement and utilization technologies, and interdisciplinary
research that bridges these areas.
- to understand a wide range of advanced knowledge and in-depth expertise in molecular sensor engineering
- to be able to plan to achieve research goals
- to be able to deal with unexpected events during research flexibly (clarification of problems and devising solutions)
- to be able to communicate effectively about one's research to others
