Course description
 This class will provide an overview of the basic philosophy, meaning, and laws regarding student guidance and career guidance in junior high and high schools. In this lecture, we will discuss with students the understanding of students, which is essential for the practice of student guidance and career guidance. Also, explain the necessity of collaboration with families, schools, local communities, and institutions outside of schools.
 Regarding career guidance and career education, this class will explain the social background that requires career education and outline the philosophy and significance of career education.
Purpose of class

 Understand that student guidance is as important an educational activity as learning guidance. Students will also acquire the knowledge necessary to advance student guidance while collaborating with other teachers and related local organizations.
 Regarding career guidance and career education, students will acquire the knowledge necessary to provide guidance and support that will enable them to independently choose their future career path and adapt to their future lives. In addition, students will gain a thorough understanding of the laws and regulations necessary for student guidance and career guidance, as well as methods for understanding students, and will acquire a broad perspective and flexibility that allows them to respond flexibly to a variety of situations.
Goals and objectives
  1. Students can understand and explain the definitions of student guidance and career guidance.
  2. Students can understand and explain the laws and regulations related to student guidance.
  3. Students understand the methods of student understanding necessary for student guidance and are able to propose solutions to student behavior problems.
  4. Students can understand and explain the background behind the introduction of career education.
  5. Students will be able to consider the issues of students' career choices in junior high and high school in relation to the situation of modern society.
