In recent years, the needs of society have become more complex, and being co-creative and having high contextual value for
user actions and experiences is essential for providing attractive products and services. Therefore, in this exercise, we
will observe, collect, organize, and analyze design objects in order to grasp the latent needs for attractiveness and value.
In the process of investigation, students are required to create a prototype and refine it repeatedly until they come up with
a final proposal.
The theme of the project will be accessible design, and the proposal will be a product design that realizes rich communication.
What kind of design is required by people?
How can we determine the intangible value?
What kind of solutions are possible to problems?
This course is aim to cultivate the ability to think about design from a wide range of perspectives, free from established
concepts.
- Able to grasp problems and requirements from various viewpoints and concept planning.
- Through repeated prototyping and refinement, attractive design proposals can be made.
- Able to build presentations that convey a proposal's appeal.
- Able to contribute to group works.
