Course description
In this course, students acquire elementary knowledge of information and communication engineering through "manufacturing".
In particular, students will develop the ability to apply the basic knowledge of hardware learned in the Fundamentals of Information and Communication Experiments A.
Students learn how to configure electronic circuits using arithmetic amplifiers and how to use oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, and other equipment through checking the operation and measuring the characteristics of the circuits.
Purpose of class
To understand electronic circuits better, to understand the handling and characteristics of electronic components, to design and fabricate electronic circuits, and to become proficient in the handling of measuring instruments.
In particular, this course aims to enable students to handle operational amplifiers (OP AMPs), which are important in analog electronic circuits, to configure various arithmetic circuits, and to evaluate their characteristics.
Goals and objectives
  1. Students are able to learn the functions and characteristics of a basic electronic circuit, the operational amplifier circuit, and explain its operation and characteristics.
  2. Students are able to build an operational amplifier circuit according to a schematic, plan and carry out experiments efficiently, and express the obtained data in an easily understandable format.
  3. Students are able to demonstrate teamwork and assume his/her role when working in a team on a given task.
