Course description
The students will acquire basic knowledge of Arduino by referring to the designated textbook, and then plan a developmental task using Arduino in groups. The class will then be followed by practical exercises on the tasks planned by the group.
Purpose of class
Acquire basic knowledge of microcontrollers and the fundamentals in setting up systems using microcontrollers.
Goals and objectives
  1. Be able to plan and implement a developmental task using a microcontroller, understanding the integrity with which others' ideas and information can be legitimately cited and your own efforts to address issues.
  2. Be able to present the developmental task using a microcontroller, understanding the integrity with which others' ideas and information can be legitimately cited and your own efforts to address issues.

Evaluation method and criteria
The task plan (50%) and final report (50%) will be evaluated, and a total score of 60% will be considered acceptable. The task plan and progress report must be prepared in Word and converted to PDF format (however, pasting of handwritten progress checklist images, etc. is permitted). The final presentation should be prepared and presented in PPTX format.
If you understand the operation of the microcontroller, work on the developmental task and make a final presentation, you will get 80 points out of 100.
