Course description
In this course, the students will learn ways of thinking common to planning exercises in civil engineering including urban planning, transportation planning and river planning.
They wil also be able to understand basic concepts and ideas that are required when studying sector-wise planning excercises at a later stage.
Purpose of class
To understand the roles infrastructure facilities are playing in the society.
To understand the importance of planning which enables the roles of infrastructure facility to be effective over time.
To understand basic concepts and thoughts for the plan preparation.
To enhance the interests on infrastructure planning and facilitate the understanding of ensuing courses on sector-wise planning exercises.

  3. Students can understand basic ideas relating to "urban planning" including stakeholders, planning thoughts and plan implementing tools.
