Course description
In terms of technical calculation such as electrical circuit analysis, it may be impossible to obtain solution directly from algebraic or differential equations. Therefore, we have to employ computer-based numerical analysis. This subject offers how to use numerical calculation software, solving method of nonlinear equation, numerical integration method, and these applications for electrical calculations.
Purpose of class
*
Goals and objectives
  1. Possible to conduct calculation using a numerical calculation software.
  2. Possible to explain purpose and solving method of nonlinear equations.
  3. Possible to explain purpose and solving method of differential equations.
  4. Possible to apply these method to electrical calculation to obtain solutions..

Evaluation method and criteria
Submitting reports relating to the targets is requested. After every lecture, you are subjected to prepare a report including similar topic to the lecture and program code. You have to submit at next lecture. Final evaluation is based on the average score of all reports. Satisfaction of 60% understadning of 'goals and objectives' is judged as pass level. Pass is given if it is greater than 60 points.
