3 (英語版)(課程制)卒業研究2
Students will set a research plan, perform experiments, organize and discuss the results, and complete a graduation thesis.
Acquire knowledge and experience in the essential tasks of an engineer, such as perform experiments, conducting research,
and summarizing and reporting the results over a defined period of time.
- set their own goals and research plans
- study about their own theme and organize results
- write a graduation thesis based on their results of the research

Evaluation method and criteria
"Planning" and "Study" will be evaluated based on progress at the laboratory meeting. For "Thesis and oral presentations",
the results will be evaluated according to the course rubric.
This research will further develop the linear analysis of mechanical reliability in microstructures such as semiconductor
interiors conducted in Graduation Research 1 using the finite element method so that nonlinear behavior can be analyzed. In
particular, we will conduct computer simulations using creep and viscoelasticity, which are important nonlinear behaviors
of semiconductor products. In addition, as fracture analysis in nonlinear behavior, computer simulations using fracture mechanics
corresponding to elasto-plasticity, such as J-integral, will be studied.
