Students will set a research plan, perform experiments, organize and discuss the results, and complete a graduation thesis.
Purpose of class
Acquire knowledge and experience in the essential tasks of an engineer, such as perform experiments, conducting research, and summarizing and reporting the results over a defined period of time.

"Planning" and "Study" will be evaluated based on progress at the laboratory meeting. For "Thesis and oral presentations", the results will be evaluated according to the course rubric.

Research Content
卒業研究2までに修得した材料力学，破壊力学，計算力学の知識を活用し，大型構造物から半導体製品におけるマイクロ構造体の破壊予測を行う研究を実施する．特に，計算機シミュレーションを利用した破壊予測法に関して，研究室独自の手法を開発し，それを有限要素法解析に実装し，精密な実験による検証を行い，完成した成果を可能な限り社会実装する．
