Research Content
In the Materials design engineering laboratory, students will conduct research related to the improvement of various properties for lightweight metallic materials by controlling the microstructure, or development of novel crystalline materials as energy materials.
The objective of this course is to investigate various properties of materials, both metallic and inorganic materials, experimentally and theoretically from the microstructural and crystallographic viewpoints, and to contribute to materials development and design. In addition, students will acquire the ability to communicate and discuss the results of their research in an easy-to-understand manner. In addition, students will understand the significance of their research and future prospects, and be able to explain them clearly.
