Students will set a research plan, perform experiments, organize and discuss the results, and complete a graduation thesis.
Purpose of class
Acquire knowledge and experience in the essential tasks of an engineer, such as perform experiments, conducting research, and summarizing and reporting the results over a defined period of time.

"Planning" and "Study" will be evaluated based on progress at the laboratory meeting. For "Thesis and oral presentations", the results will be evaluated according to the course rubric.

Research Content
Conduct chemistry-based examinations on the subject of separation science, which is necessary for the effective use of resources, to create substances and develop chemical processes that enable the reliable separation and recovery of target substances. Students will compile the research results obtained through these studies into a graduation thesis and acquire the ability to explain their results and ideas in a way that is easy to understand even for beginning students. In addition, students will develop the ability to make proposals for chemical processes with a view to resource recycling.
