・カーボンナノチューブの複合材料を創成し、導電性、熱伝導性、耐久性(耐候性)、透明性、電磁波遮蔽性などの特性を有する新しいゴム、プラスチック材料を開発していく。
・フラーレンを組み込んだリポソームの分子設計を行い、がんの光線力学療法剤となる治療薬の開発を行う。
