3 Technical Seminar
Students will learn the basic knowledge, techniques, and methodologies for the undergraduate thesis research to be conducted
in the fourth year through literature subscriptions and exercises related to each faculty member's area of expertise. In consideration
of the assignment to a laboratory for the fourth-year undergraduate thesis research, students research and gather information
on the field of the faculty member in charge well in advance, and select one field of interest for their graduation research.
In addition, students will select a field of interest for their undergraduate thesis research and study it.
To facilitate the initiation of undergraduate thesis research and to help students select the laboratory to which they will
be assigned in the future. The purpose of this course is to understand the research fields of the faculty members in charge
of the course.
- Students can learn the basic knowledge, techniques, methodologies, etc. of each technical field to be addressed in the undergraduate
thesis research.
- Students can obtain overviews of how to conduct research in the undergraduate thesis research thhrough literature subscriptions
and exercises, etc.
- Students can understand the research fields in which the department faculty members are in charge, and to use this opportunity
as a reference for laboratory assignments in the undergraduate thesis research.
- Students can take the basic skills test PROG to understand their own strengths and weaknesses and reflect them in their own
study plans.

The study contents to be covered vary depending on the laboratory in charge. The PROG test will be reviewed and explained
at the end of the class.
