3 Internship
In this class, students will use the internship system of companies, etc., and visit companies, research institutes, welfare
facilities, etc., for one to four weeks during the school vacation period to experience actual work, etc.
The purpose of this program is to provide students with opportunities to improve their professional and practical skills through
work experience as engineers, scientists, and support personnel, and to think proactively and positively about their professional
aptitudes and future job plans.

Internships are offered by companies, research institutes, and welfare facilities. Each student must apply to the company
of his/her choice and, if selected, submit an application for permission to the faculty member in charge and obtain permission.
If the faculty member in charge judges that the internship is not suitable for the student, he/she may not be allowed to do
so. Students should understand the purpose of the internship, consult with their supervisor, and make a detailed plan for
the internship. Keep a journal during the internship, and if possible, have it checked by the person in charge.
After the internship is over, the intern should organize the contents of the internship, compile a report on what he/she
has considered, etc., and submit it to the teacher in charge within one month after the end of the internship, together with
the logbook. If there is a report from the counterpart company, it should be submitted together with the report.
Evaluation method and criteria
The evaluation will be based on the contents of the applicant's journal and report indicating the status of his/her efforts.
The passing score of 60 points is the level at which the intern can give a brief description of the internship and its considerations.

The internship site should be thoroughly researched.
Students are required to conduct sufficient research on the nature of the internship work.
If the faculty member in charge of the internship determines that the internship is not appropriate, he or she may not permit
the internship.
