Course description
This course is based on the series of lectures and exercises on the different aspects of architecture and urban design.
Through the course, students should acquire professional understanding of various types of architecture and the structural and mechanical elements composing a building.
Purpose of class
The aim of the course is for students to study and acquire the basic technical know-how necessary for the practice of planning and design of various types of
Buildings.
Goals and objectives
  1. Acquire and develop the basic understanding on architecture.
  2. Acquire knowledge on structural and mechanical aspects of buildings and urban design.
  3. Study the design and the construction of buildings through the example of actual buildings.
