MASUKO So
Course content
The evolution of digital technology is transforming our approach to many challenges that were previously difficult to solve. However, with the diversification of technology, the ability to effectively utilize and design these technologies has become an important skill. In this course, focusing on cyber-physical interactions, we aim to understand the fundamental technologies that make this possible and acquire the design process for solving real-world problems. Due to the hands-on media experiences and presentations conducted in person, the number of participants may be limited.
Purpose of class
To understand the changes that the rapid development and proliferation of digital technology bring to society and daily life, and to learn the design process for using these technologies to solve real-world challenges.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understand and explain the digital technologies and the principles behind them.
  2. Execute the process of research, ideation, and verification for design proposals.
  3. Validate and evaluate hypotheses through prototyping.
  4. Effectively communicate one's own ideas.
