Course content
This course is designed for students to learn how to present their research work effectively.
Students will prepare a presentation, firstly in a poster and later in an oral form.
To strengthen the interaction, students will be involved in reviewing, giving comments, and asking questions.
Purpose of class
This course aims to help students acquire the skills necessary to prepare and present their research work during a conference.
Students will be able to construct short and long presentations and poster materials.
The student will be able to keep the listeners' interest during their speech and actively listen during an academic meeting.
Students will be able to participate in a conference by themselves.
Goals and objectives
  1. The student can explain the structure of an academic meeting and is ready to participate in the academic meeting.
  2. The student will be able to speak logically, keep listeners' interest, and manage time.
  3. The student will be able to listen and understand other presenters and ask appropriate questions.

Evaluation method and criteria
Evaluation is based on class activity (20%), abstract (25%), poster presentation (25%), and final presentation at the student seminar (30%).
To pass, the student must earn a total score of 60% or more.
