Course content
In this course, control systems applied to DC servo motor drives will be studied. This study includes modeling and identification of control systems, design for PID controller based on frequency shaping, and evaluation of performances of DC servo motor drives.
This course will be suitable for students who are anxious to get a position in power electronics fields.
Purpose of class
Understanding the design procedure of the dc servo system using the frequency domain approach.
Goals and objectives
  1. 1. A study for modeling and identification of control systems based on DC servo motor drives.
  2. 2. A design for PID controller based on frequency shaping.
