Course content
Analysis of real samples necessitates various kinds of knowledges. In this class, basic and practical knowledges including pre-treatment of samples, instrumental analysis, validation of methods, and data interpretation will be lectured.
Purpose of class
The aim of this class is that students acquire the basic knowledge on how to analyze the real samples. The main topics of this class are (1) understanding the properties of pre-treatments of samples, (2) basic understanding of instrumental analysis, (3) validation of methods, and (4) efficient interpretation of the experimental data.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understanding the properties of various sample pre-treatment methods.
  2. Understanding the principles of frequently used instrumental analyses.
  3. Understanding the concept of validation of methods.
  4. Understanding the idea of multivariate analysis.
