1 Power Supply System Engineering and Applications / Exercise 1
In order to develop the power supply technology essential for the electrification and decarbonization of all things and contribute
to the realization of a safe, secure, and energy-saving electrified society, students will acquire the latest technology and
application skills related to power supply systems. In addition, students will engage in multidisciplinary research that transcends
the boundaries of fields other than electricity and energy, aiming to develop technology that contributes to solving social
issues.
- Understand social issues and the needs of industry, and be able to explain in your own words proposals that will contribute
to solving these issues.
- Be able to explain in your own words the latest trends related to your research and the advantages of your proposed technology.
- Be able to explain in your own words the advantages of your proposed technology based on data that demonstrates its superiority.

Evaluation method and criteria
Research progress reports, academic papers, and conference presentations will be evaluated comprehensively.
Students will be eligible for a score of 60 or more if they are able to obtain appropriate data that demonstrates the novelty,
creativity, or usefulness of their research and present it in a paper or slides.
