Applied Perception Engineering / Exercise 1

Applied Perception and Engineering Research focuses on merging human perception with engineering to enhance user-centered design and technology. Research includes perception studies, human-centered design, emotion recognition through sensory processing, and creating immersive VR/AR experiences.

人間の知覚とエンジニアリングを融合させ、ユーザーセンターのデザインと技術を向上させることに焦点を当てる。研究内容には、知覚研究、ヒューマンセンタードデザイン、感情認識を通じた感覚処理、没入型VR/AR体験の創出が含まれる。

1. 応用知覚工学の基本原理を理解できる: 学生は人間の知覚プロセスとそれが工学にどのように応用されるかの基本を理解し、多様な技術分野での応用可能性を把握する。
2. 応用知覚工学の研究課題を設定できる: 学生は応用知覚工学における具体的な研究課題を自ら設定し、その課題に取り組むための研究計画を立案する。
3. 応用知覚工学の解決策を提案・実装・評価する: 学生は設定した研究課題に対して実践的な解決策を提案し、その提案を実装および評価することによって、ユーザーエクスペリエンスの向上と技術革新を目指す。

In collaboration with the supervising faculty, students will determine their research topics and develop, implement, and evaluate solutions. Based on feedback from these evaluations, solutions will be refined and revised repeatedly. The ultimate goal is to present the research findings at academic conferences and in scholarly journals.

Assess standard research activities, such as attending research meetings, preparing materials for those meetings, and carrying out implementation tasks. Furthermore, utilize the results from these activities to evaluate their effectiveness.
