Course description
Experience basic laws and phenomena learned on lectures of electric circuits, electromagnetics, electronic circuits and related fields through experiments.
Acquire knowledge on nano-electronics, photonics, information and bioelectronics .
Purpose of class
Student will be able to confirm the basic subjects learned in lecture and to acquire corresponding knowledge.
Goals and objectives
  1. (1) Student will be able to understand the collected information、and to explain them in your words.
    (2) Student will be able to prepare the report and present the contents based on the experimental results.
    (3) Student will be able to understand the principles and directions for use of general measurement equipments.
  2. (4) Student will be able to understand the contents of experiments, and to carry out the experiments aggressively.
    (5) Student will be able to discuss the experimental results.
  3. (6) Student will be able to carry out the experiments in cooperation with group members.
    (7) Student will be able to enhance the basic ability for electronic circuits required for engineers, through the measurements of actual analogue electronic circuits.
  4. (8) Student will be able to enhance the basic ability for electronic materials and solid state physics required for engineers, through the measurements of actual semiconductor devices.

Evaluation method and criteria
【Evaluation method 】
All reports and presented poster have to be accepted. Content of each report and understanding the theme: 80 %. Content of presented poster and understanding the theme: 20 %. 60 % of total score is required to obtain credit.

【Evaluation criteria 】
The total score of 60 points is the level at which graduation research could gain the ability to plan and carry out experiments on its own.

Students have to acquire Electric Circuit 1・2・3, Electric Circuit Exercise 1・2, Electromagnetism 1・2, Electromagnetism Exercise 1・2, Analog Electronic Circuit, and Basics of Electronic materials. If not acquired these course, students might learn by themselves.
