Course description

In this lecture, students will learn how to analyze the operating principle of electronic circuits that make up electronic devices from basic elements.

Purpose of class

In this lecture, students will understand the operating principle of transistors, FETs, equivalent circuits, a basic amplifier circuit, operational amplifiers, and the circuit technology used in integrated circuits.
Students will also be able to convert the basic amplifier to a large or small signal equivalent circuit and to analyze these circuits.
Students will be able to design the synchronous sequential circuit by using Verilog HDL.

Students can understand the operating principle of transistors, FETs, and equivalent circuits.
Students can understand the operating principle of a basic amplifier circuit, convert it to a large or small signal equivalent circuit, and analyze these circuits.
Students can understand the operating principle of operational amplifiers and analyze these circuits.
Students can understand the circuit technology used in integrated circuits and analyze these circuits.
Students can design the synchronous sequential circuit by using Verilog HDL.

Evaluation method and criteria

Exercise reports 25%×4=100%
To pass the class, students must earn at least 60 points out of 100.

In the report assignments, a score of 60% will be given if all required reporting items are included.
