This course is designed to remind and teach students about the basics of chemistry, atomic and molecular structure, state
of matter and solutions, chemical reactions, and the basics of chemical equilibrium. This course will continue in the Spring
semester course as “General Chemistry B”. To follow “General Chemistry B” it is mandatory to have followed and passed “General
Chemistry A”. It is highly recommended to follow “General Chemistry B” after following “General Chemistry A” to have a complete
vision of general chemistry and chemistry of the elements.
The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the principles of chemistry on the academic level.
