Course description
In order to become an excellent engineer or researcher, it is effective to learn about the advanced science and technology. The scope of this course is to learn about research objectives and methods in cutting-edge technologies in a variety of research fields. This course follows omnibus style and is given by the teaching staff from various countries. Many topics from various fields are involved such as, progress in Information technology, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Advanced material, Materials for Energy, Biological Science, Chemistry, Educational Engineering, and so on. The specific content of each lecture will be explained in the first class.
Purpose of class
Students will be able to obtain knowlegde of cutting-edge research in a variety of fields and its ways of thinking and methods.
The students will be also able to write scientific reports.

Evaluation method and criteria
Reports writing (70%), and Contribution to the classes (joining, question/answer etc.) (30%).
Students must submit reports for each class according to the template.
Details of the topics, how to write the reports, and due dates will be explained at the first class.
Those who get at least 60% will pass this course.
If you attend all classes, make your reports on time, you can get at least 60 %.
