Course description
In terms of technical calculation such as electrical circuit analysis, it may be impossible to obtain solution directly from algebraic or differential equations. Therefore, we have to employ computer-based numerical analysis. This subject offers how to use numerical calculation software, solving method of nonlinear equation, numerical integration method, and these applications for electrical calculations.
Purpose of class
In technical calculations, starting with the analysis of electric circuits, it may not be possible to obtain solutions directly from algebraic equations and differential equations. In this case, we will rely on numerical calculations using a computer. The purpose of this course is to deepen the understanding of how to use numerical computing software, how to solve nonlinear equations, numerical integration methods, and their application to electrical circuit calculations.

Evaluation method and criteria
Submitting reports relating to the targets is requested. After every lecture, you are subjected to prepare a report including similar topic to the lecture and program code. You have to submit at next lecture. Final evaluation is based on the average score of all reports. Satisfaction of 60% understadning of 'goals and objectives' is judged as pass level. Pass is given if it is greater than 60 points.
