4 Graduation thesis program I
Students will organize a team with freshmen and sophomore students to achieve the goal of the graduation thesis research and
continue the research activities as a team. Also, students will learn how to manage a project with a team through the research
activities. In parallel, students will learn basic skills (standard format for academic papers, technical terms used in specific
discipline area, and tips for writing academic papers: one meaning for one word; one idea for one sentence; one topic for
one paragraph) to write the graduation thesis and understand the structure of academic papers (title, abstract, introduction,
experimental method, experimental results, discussion, and conclusion). Then, students will practice writing papers through
the support of the supervisor and the faculty who has an expertise in technical writing.
The purposes of this course are to acquire the ability to arrange a research team and manage the research project, and to
practice writing academic papers.

Evaluation method and criteria
More than 60% of the total score is needed for getting the course credit. The details will be explained by the supervisor.
"Daily activities" will be evaluated by the supervisor.
"Presentation in meeting" will be evaluated by the supervisor.
"Presentation at the end of the semester" will be evaluated by the supervisors and the reviewers.
