Course description
Students will search and read scientific and engineering papers as related work of the graduation thesis, and give oral presentations on these reference papers with a presentation tool such as MS-PowerPoint in a small group meeting in order to improve the presentation skills in STEM field. Through the discussion in the group meeting, students will nurture an ability to solve social issues based on scientific technologies and information, and foster an ability to think multi-dimensionally from global perspective. In addition, students will improve own presentation skills through activities to give advice on presentations to the freshmen and the sophomore students of the research team.
Purpose of class
The purposes of this course are to acquire an ability to solve social issues based on scientific technologies and information, and to foster an ability to think multi-dimensionally from global perspective.
