Course description
Continuously students will participate in a small group meeting (seminar) organized by the supervisor. Students will consult reference papers and books in a self-directed manner and try to understand the background and why the research in the laboratory is important along with the impact on the society, which must be presented in front of the laboratory members using a presentation tool such as MS-PowerPoint under the guidance of the supervisor. Students will deepen the understanding of the laboratory research through discussions with the laboratory members and propose which direction the research should proceed to. Through these activities, students will foster communication skills and an ability to effectively work as a team member.
Purpose of class
The purposes of this course are to acquire the ability to consult academic papers and understand the importance of the research being conducted in the laboratory, and to foster communication skills to work as a team.
