Course description
The study on urban housing is not only an interdisciplinary but also a comprehensive subject and relates to a number of special fields.
In this course, modern and contemporary ideas and images of housing are introduced with many domestic and foreign examples.
Purpose of class
The purpose of this course is that the students extend their knowledge about housing which is the most basic component of the built environment.
Goals and objectives
  1. The goals of of this course are to
    Acquire and extend the knowledge about urban and suburban housing including independent private houses and collective housing.
  2. Extend the knowledge about the relationship of urban housing and the social background.
  3. Extend the knowledge necessary for professional architect and/or urban designer in order to solve various problems regarding urban dwelling.
