Course description

Systems science is primarily an interdisciplinary field of study that integrates the humanities and sciences and is based on mathematics and computer science. In this course, we will deal with various areas of systems science that are oriented toward the discovery and solution of social issues, particularly by exploring the causal relationships that underlie individual and organizational decision making and relationship formation. Specifically, the basic concepts of game theory, network theory, social choice theory, and system dynamics will be studied.

Purpose of class

The objective is to cultivate literacy in diagnosing society from the perspective of systems science.

Goals and objectives

Be able to explain the basics of systems science.
Analytical policies for social issues and for various decisions can be established.
Explain the role of systems science in solving social problems.
