建築生産に関連する国際的な違いを論じる、英語による専門の講義科目である。日本と海外とでは建築プロジェクトの進め方が大きく異なる。むしろ日本の建築生産が特殊であるといってよい。建築生産、プロジェクトマネジメント、技術開発、教育などにおける日本と海外との違いを理解し、国際的なプロジェクトに携わるときに必要となる基礎知識を身につけることを目標とする。技術資料、プロジェクトの施工記録などを活用して海外の建築生産の特徴を調べ、得た知見をたがいに共有し議論することで、建築生産の国による相違点を多視点でとらえ、翻って日本の建築生産のしくみを理解する。なお、本科目は一級建築士の受験に必要な指定科目上、「⑩複合・関連科目」に含まれる。
This is a specialized lecture course conducted in English, discussing the international differences related to construction production. There are significant differences in the way construction projects are carried out in Japan and overseas. In fact, Japan's construction production can be considered unique. The goal of this course is to understand the differences between Japan and other countries in terms of construction production, project management, technological development, and education, and to acquire the fundamental knowledge needed when participating in international projects. By examining the characteristics of overseas construction production using technical materials, project construction records, and other resources, and sharing and discussing the insights gained, students will learn to view the differences in construction production from multiple perspectives, thereby gaining a better understanding of the structure of Japan's construction production.

The goal is to understand the differences between the construction industries in Japan and overseas, and to be able to communicate these differences both in writing and orally.

Applicable 担当教員は大手ゼネコンにて技術開発、研究、技術開発企画などの経験がある。また施工支援および施工計画支援業務を通して建設現場の実態に詳しい。一級建築士の資格も有している。これらの経験から実務に即した講義を行う。
The professor has significant experience in technical development, research, and planning within a leading general contractor, as well as in construction support and planning. His deep understanding of the realities of construction sites, paired with his qualification as a first-class architect, allows him to provide lectures rooted in practical, real-world knowledge.
