授業の概要

As the name of this course states, this course is about speaking formally in public. Students will work on three important parts of successful speeches in any language. It is a continuation and expansion of Public Speaking 1.　In addition to the “final” speech, students will also be expected to deliver mini-speeches and participate in articulation and intonation drills in each class.

a – posture and eye contact　　b – gestures
c – voice inflection and intonation　　d – the use of visual aides
2. to help students build confidence in using spoken English

評価方法と基準

Participation and short presentations: 70%
Final presentation: 30%
