Students will learn an overview of information management of natural language data. The course introduces the techniques and
methodologies to analyze linguistic phenomena, experimental findings for social research, and various applications. The focus
is not merely on learning the concepts of information management of natural language data, but also on applying those concepts
to facilitate information system with language data for communities. Students are expected to read the assigned readings or
to do assignments before the class.
