Course description
Analog techniques in electronics become more important in a digital era. A core in analog techniques is electronic circuits theory. The goal of this class is that a student become able to analyze and design basic electronic circuits with one or two bipolar transistors.
Purpose of class
The purpose of this class is to understand the importance of analog techniques by studying the analysis and design of basic electronic circuits.
Goals and objectives
  1. A student can understand the concept of amplification.
  2. A student can estimate the characteristics of simple electronic circuits from their schematics.
  3. A student can design single- or dual-transistor amplifier circuits.
